It's Gone..

I made it through the end of my week! I now have over 10 inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love, Zachary had his toe done and I must say he did much better than I would have and I never made it to the eye doctor. Freakin snow!

We also have a new pet, a Beta Fish named Spike. I went to Walmart on Thursday to look at dehumidifiers and came out with a fish. Zachary was with me and I have sucker written all over my forehead and he knows it! I just hope the cats don't find it and eat it!

My daughter suckered me into getting her a beta too. If you put up a mirror to the bowl, a beta will puff himself up & want to fight. Very cute.

I hate to tell you this, but
Fish, despite good care, only lived 31 days after we bought him.

We were all very sad to see the little guy go.

I love Beta Fishes, but I refuse to keep them in anything other than an aquarium.

I see them in those tiny little bowls that aren't big enough in the pet stores and it makes me want to set them all free somewhere. The only issue with that would be trying to explain myself to the police afterwards :P

They don't take a lot of looking after though, and they're gorgeous fishes. Some of the color varieties out there are just stunning.
