I was checking this site out for looking for gifts, more specifically, gifts for guys. Not much at this site for my husband, but for his dad…woooweee. It is like I hit the jackpot. My father in law has a beautiful red corvette and it even has its own special room in the garage. Sad thing is… I’m not joking!!
So I think I found the perfect gift for his red corvette’s special room. A black and white checkered floor..Like the checkered flag at the Nascar race’s. He is always telling me how he races down the highway, blah, blah..I think this would be the perfect gift for him..well really for his car.

Yeah...it's finally here!!! As you all know and if your are stopping by for the first time, I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! Yup, as childish as it may seem, it is my favorite holiday. So with that said I am off to get ready, ready to make my transformation!! Plus I need to get Z up and help him get ready too. We really need to get more bathroom vanities because one just doesn't cut it in the house. I had to get up at 4 am instead of 5 am just to start getting ready...

It's Halloween.... Somewhere!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy
Z and I had an extremely busy night!! We had to finish up some last minute Halloween business. The were costume accessories to get, popcorn balls to make, candy to buy and before pictures to take!! We are ready to scare some little boys and girls and take this town by storm!! There should be addiction treatment for Halloween, cause I am addicted...Why does it only have to be for one day? There are the 12 days of Christmas, why can't there be 12 days of Halloween...arg!!
We made these for school tomorrow....Don't they look yummy??
Very easy to make and a lot of fun. All you need is.......................
8 cups of popcorn or 1/3 cup of the kernels (I bought a bag of the kernels and followed the direction on the bag)
1 package of mini marshmallows (10 oz bag)
1/4 cup or 1/2 stick of butter.
Use any candies you want....
Pop the popcorn, put in bowl, in a sauce pan melt the butter on medium heat and stir while melting. When butter is melted add marshmallows and stir until they are melted. Pour over popped popcorn and stir until all the popcorn is coated. Grease up your hand with a little oil or cooking spray. We found using a little oil worked better. Form into balls, press your choice of candies into ball before they cool. Let sit for 30 minutes. That's eat, a fairly quick and tasty snack!
An Irish Ghost Story
This story happened a while ago in Dublin, and even though it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock tale, its true!!!!!
John Bradford, a Dublin University student, was on the side of the road hitchhiking on a very dark night and in the midst of a big storm. The night was rolling on and no car went by. The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly, he saw a car slowly coming towards him and stopped. John, desperate for shelter and without thinking about it, got into the car and closed the door..only to realise there was nobody behind the wheel and the engine wasn't on!!
The car started moving slowly. John looked at the road ahead and saw a curve approaching. Scared, he started to pray, begging for his life.
Then, just before the car hit the curve, a hand appeared through the window and turned the wheel. John, paralysed with terror, watched as the hand repeatedly came through the window, but never touched or harmed him. Shortly thereafter John saw the lights of a pub appear down the road,so, gathering strength, he jumped out of the car and ran to it. Wet and out of breath, he rushed inside and started telling everybody about the horrible experience he had just had. A silence enveloped the pub when everybody realised he was crying and....wasn't drunk.
Suddenly, the door opened, and two other people walked in from the stormy night. They, like John, were also soaked and out of breath.Looking around, and seeing John Bradford sobbing at the bar, one said to the other...
"Look Paddy.....there's that f*king idiot that got in the car while we were pushing it!!!!"

Can you believe eating is a competitive sport? Sometimes I watch these eating contests and I just want to throw up!
There are so many of them, from hotdogs to bratwurst. Ever have a bratwurst..wurst is right..gross! There are pie eating, banana eating, watermelon and pizza…all eating contests and I am sure people eat things we have never even heard of!
Ever hear of Joey Chestnut for California? He is the man who ate 103 small hamburgers (2 1/2inches square) in 8 minutes on Sunday and won $10,000. I could probably eat 20 of them before I barfed. I don’t know what is more amazing, eating 103 mini hamburgers or eating them in 8 minutes. I know these guys go through so grueling training all in the name of food. I couldn’t imagine how many times these guys have gotten sick. Just thinking about it makes my belly ache.

I have never been to Las Vegas and I am not quite sure why I want to go. All I will do is eagerly throw my money into the dark clutches of a slot machine. Sitting there with their little coin slots, just waiting for you to drop a coin in, to never see it again.

I think I kinda jinx my son!! Every time I whine about how quiet things have been at school, something happens! Talk about spooookkky!!
I believe it was Friday that I was whining and then Friday afternoon I get a call from the teacher. She asks me to call her back; she needed to let me know what happened at the end of the day. OH BOY, I thought!! Z called me though before I could pick up the phone to call the teacher. He was extremely agitated and sound like he had been crying. He said to me “I hate that class, I hate those kids, they are racist and I WANT TO BE TRANSFERRED to another school!”
Whoa, I thought to myself and I asked what happened. I got a bunch of mumbles and yells, behind the tears and sniffles I managed to figure out that one of the boys in his class called him a “cracker”!!!!!!!!!
I immediately said “I’ll call you right back.” I hung up the phone in fear that my son responded with his own racist comment and I called the teacher.
The teacher said that his day went very well until him and one of the kids decided to play UNO together. The squabbled back and forth, typical crap “You didn’t draw 2”, “You didn’t say UNO” and so on. She said that is why she doesn’t usually allow the kids to play that game in class. So that escalated to more bickering and name calling, that turned into swearing at each other and then the boy screamed at my son “You’re a F’in Cracker”.
My first question to the teacher was, “What did Z call him back?” She said he was swearing at the boy, saying things a truck driver would say, but never responded with a racist name.” My first thought was, Thank goodness!! She said he did handle himself fairly well considering, she said if he had stopped swearing when he was asked to, he would not have lost his level 3. He is now down to a 2. I have never been put in that position before, so I don’t know how I would have reacted either.
I have never raised my son to use those names. Therefore I would never, ever expect him to say something like that. If he did, I would be appalled and embarrassed. Sometimes I look at they way some of these kids behave and try to remember that is what they learned at home. Like Z and swearing. In my family, you swear when you’re happy, when you’re sad, when you’re mad. I still should know better and not swear around him, there really is no excuse for it. The last couple of months I have found myself thinking about what I say before I say it.
So later that night my husband and I talked to Z about what happened in class that day, we told him that what the boy said was not acceptable and we were very proud of him for not making a racist comment back. That would have been the easy thing to do.
We also told him that the swearing is unacceptable, even though we know that we do it a lot, it still does not make it right and we need to be sure that we do less of it.
Hopefully Z can keep his eye in the prize and the prize is……..As of the new year Z will be slowly released back into the main stream school system!! I am so excited.
I wasn’t going to tell Z, but I did! I wanted him to know, to realize and to see how hard he has worked so far this year and not to lose focus. He is very excited, as he should be!!!!

Time For A Change
It's that time again.. I need a new outfit!! I love my girl in pink and blue but it is time, time to bring out a new fresh look. Not going to go serious looking, that is not what my blog is about, will defiantly stay with fun loving. So HOPEFULLY by tomorrow night I will have found the perfect outfit (template) and it will be the big unveiling!! I have a couple in mind but if you know of any sites that have the kinda template's you have seen my blog dressed in...do let me know!
The Best Of Germany
Oktoberfest, every beer drinkers dream and the world’s largest festival racking up a staggering 7 million visitors, that is many friends to make! While you are vacationing in Munich, go to the oldest parish church, St. Peters Church, if you go all the way to the top, you can take in all the beauty of the city below you. Visiting Munich, you must check out the Marienplatz. The neo-gothic town hall’s clock plays the Glockenspiel everyday. It is world famous and a must see!

As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I feel one of the most important things a woman should do is, A. either a self breast exam or B. Get a mammogram.

What Does It Taste Like?
I am a little overweight and I am trying to lose some weight. I have another blog that was supposed to be dedicated to that but, I haven’t really kept up with it. Not at all.
So I decided to go back to Weight Watcher’s and have done fairly well. One of my co-workers went to the doctor recently and was told to lose some weight as well. So we kinda have this little support system at work. Her problem is, she doesn’t eat enough to lose weight. Actually she eats like a bird so it amazes me that she is over weight, never mind she is very fussy.
So this morning I stopped at the grocery store and was looking for something different to eat. I picked up a box of Weight Watcher’s Chocolate Muffins. When I got to work I asked her if she would like one. She kinda curled her nose up and said she had never had one. So I offered her to try it and she says “What does it taste like?”
I almost fell over, “Like a freakin muffin, a chocolate muffin!!” I replied
She laughed cause she realized what an ass she sounded like and said “No thank you, I am not hungry!”
Hmmmm...sooo quiet
Ok, so I have been slacking over in blog land lately. Not really quite sure why..Not to much going on for the most part. I mean, you guys can only listen about my husband so many times! I try not to discuss him to much, always seems to bring me down.
Z has been doing wonderfully for the most part. That in itself is the best news. I guess the biggest problem is that he is way too competitive in gym. Like over the top competitive! From what the teacher tells me it is like he is playing basketball during March Madness. I don’t know where he gets it from, but it is something that will need to be nipped in the bud, BEFORE he goes back to mainstream classes. If that is the biggest problem with him right now, then I am ok. At least he isn’t laying anyone out!!
BIG BLUE....
Have you heard of the Big Blue Classic Hotel in Blackpool UK? Apparently they were recently voted Hotel of the Year at the Blackpool Tourism Awards. Wow, Hotel of the year, what an honor! So if you are planning a vacation to Blackpool and are currently trying to decide on which one of the Blackpool Hotels to stay at, you might want to check out this one.
Upon checking out their reviews, overall the hotel seems like a fairly good place to stay. There where some negatives, but certainly not enough to sway me from checking them out. You can’t please everyone, you can only hope that those are “real” reviews.
If you are going on vacation with the family, this place seems to be an excellent place for children. They offer Suites where the kids can have their own room. I like the sounds of that!! Kids sleep in a separate room, how sweet is that? The food and bar area seemed to be well received for the most part and cleanliness as well.
So all in all, this seems like a fairly nice place to stay.
Self Proclaimed Reality
T.V Junkie!!! That would be me! Yup, for some reason I can't get enough.
Whether it be Survivor, that show wore out its welcome a long time ago. The ever so missed Fear Factor..Joe were did ya go? Rock of Love, season one is over but season two will be here before we know it! If they are in good taste or bad..not mentioning any names ...I Love New York 2..and I actually like them, then I will watch!
I am particularly interested in making my comments today about The Biggest Loser.. Yup, I have watched this show since it's first season.
So last nights show was interesting, someone lost no weight, another gained a pound and the person who inspired this post, Neil, gained 17 lbs, that's right. How does one gain 17 lbs in 6 days?
Well according to Neil, one gallon of water weighs 8 lbs..oops..did he really say that? Yes he did!! Dumbass..see don't lie, it always gets you caught!
Apparently he intentionally drank 2 gallons of water right before weigh in. Imagine how is freaking bladder felt? Mine would be in pain, he must have wanted to pee his pants.
So now with the dirty tricks starting, it will certainly get interesting.
Oh and Amy, I am sooooo glad you gave whats her name the boot... I big puffy heart Jillian and Bob, but this other trainer, not a fan at-all. Geez...I can't even remember her name..ugh, it will come to me..oh Kim...right?!?! Just as I was getting to end the post too...Oh well, Amy I can't wait to see where you will be next week....
Working From Home
I was approached by a friend to start a home based business. I am not so sure that I am the type of person that can do something like that. I mean, go into people’s houses and throw parties? What I mean is, my personality. I can be easily irritated and a little rough around the edges sometimes!! Besides I am not really a good public speaker. I get nervous talking in a meeting here at work, never mind in front of a bunch of strangers. I guess I give it some thought.
I Love New York
Sorry, I am not referring to New York City…Have you watched the show I Love New York on VH1?
It is another reality dating show, similar to Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. I watched it for the first time yesterday. The girl called “New York” or aka Tiffany Patterson was from the show with Flavor Flav, Flavor of Love. She was a fool in that show and pretty much is in this one too. The don’t difference, this is her show! Apparently she is trying to find a man and the first time she did the show it didn’t work out, but I really don’t know the details
Well, this show is the biggest waste of time and money I have ever seen, well second to Flavor of Love. “New York” is raunchy, rude, crude, mouthy and just plain rough to look at. The way she talks and screeches and carries on like her shit doesn’t stink..just plain disgusting. There is absolutely nothing about her that is in anyway attractive. Please, if you find something, let me know, cuz I just don’t see it.
Then you have the group of men, what another sad site to see, almost pathetic. They all have stupid ass nicknames and she took the idea from the Flavor of Love show. You got a ½ married man ‘Tailor Made”. I say ½ married, because he is getting divorced. She found out he was married and got pissed off and made him call his wife to confirm his story. This guy was praying during elimination that she wouldn’t get rid of him. She kept him, but why would you want to stay? You gtt a midget, a dumb ass who steals a flower delivery and tries to pass them off as his own, an idiot who buys a jacket for his “sister”, yeah right his sister and tries to regift it to ‘New York”. I mean come on, where did they find all these pathetic men. More about these guys another day!
It's A New Week!!
Today is the start of a new week. I took a little break and now I am back and ready to go!! Saturday was a very long day for me. A funeral and a wedding, not what you want on the same day, but that is how things go! I rested most of the day Sunday. I did manage to get one load of laundry done and I am trying to finish it up as we speak! So here is to a better week..I need to go and take care of a few things, my husband wanted me to look for plasma mounted t.v's and then I have to get ready for work.

Besides all the cool links there is a lot of fun things you can do on this blog. Which worked out well for me, seeing as I am at work and it is extremely sloowww!!! I did the Columbus Day quiz..and I failed miserably, so much for history class!!
I also learned that saying “I can’t” shouldn’t be in my vocabulary. I watched a video about a man in California who was born with no arms and yet he still plays his guitar. Hmmm..

I Want To Rip MY Hair Out
Ughh…talk about pluckin my freakin nerves…why did I called home? I called to talk to my son, no, he didn’t do anything but my husband is there. Ok…no big deal either. So after I talked to Z I asked to talk to my husband. So I talk to him and I am getting ready to get off the phone and he asks me if I have any money. I have some money… about 14 dollars. So I asked him what he needed money for and all he says is “See ya when you get here.” I asked again and got the same response.
Now I know what he needs the money for, he needs it for booze. What happened to all your money..oh that’s right, you drank it all. First of all, I don’t ask you for money for things I need or want. I wait till I have the money and if I have a few extra bucks I get what I want. Why do you need MY money for YOUR bad habit. Talk about ruining my day.
How do you know I am not saving that money for something for me?? Maybe I wanted a new bra or outfit. Hell what about that cordless phone battery
you have been nagging at me to replace. How do you expect me to replace it if you feel the need to spend my money as well.
Everyday I despise him more and more..I can’t help it. Drinking is so important to him and really I am getting pretty sick of it. Then he is going to want a little nookey and I personally can’t stand the smell anymore. Then there will be drama…it is all so predictable!! I mean don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with drinking but man, not everyday. Sometimes I go all month without having a sipper. AAAAAAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Who's Gunna Win?
I woke up this morning to see the Boston Red Sox behind 3-1. For me, it is not really a big concern, but for my husband, that is a different story. He will be some excited, due to the fact that he is a die hard Yankees fan and all he ever wishes it that the Red Sox don’t win. After all the crap he took from his co workers I am sure he will be dishing out some crap of his own today!! One more game, he hopes and the Indians win!
I know he would love to get his hands on some world series tickets regardless of who is playing. I am sure they are very expensive though, that is if you can even get them. How cool would that be to be able to got to the World Series at least once in your life?
So there is not baseball tonight, I guess we will have to see who wins the Indians/Red Sox series on Thursday.

Ugh..wow, what a week so far and it is only Tuesday! Work is really busy, which is a good thing. My husband and I are hanging on by a thread…nothing new though.
So this weekend was supposed to be a happy occasion, well I guess. On Saturday, sister in law is getting married and my husband is the best man. I have my opinions on her marring the man she is. I mean don’t get me wrong, he is a GREAT guy; it is her I have my doubts about. Oh well, not my problem.
Unfortunately a close friend of ours passed away on Friday. Quite unexpectedly.. He was a really nice guy, the type who would give you the shirt off his back. The wake and the funeral are Saturday morning and his family requested that my husband be one of the pall bearers. He agreed to do it and looks at it as an honor that they would think of him.
Rest in Peace, Isaac, we love you…….
New Party Planning Site In The Works
Ever plan a party, Can’t they be a pain sometimes? There is a new party-planning site on the web to help you with the stresses of party planning. Although they are just getting off the ground, so far it looks ok.
So the site is called BestPartyEver (BPE) What I can say is that the registration is quick and simple. Not a lot to go through to get your party planning started.
Once I registered and confirmed my account, I started my event planning. I created my party ideas and boy they sure have many different party types. The way I see it is, the more the merrier. I would like to see some more party types for users who have a different cultures. All started out good but when I tried to pick a date in a future month and I could not, but I was able to change the date ahead in this month.
Planning tools: I had some issues with this as well. I created my first party in the Party Planning Center and didn’t realize that it was created. I went ahead and set up another and when I saved the second one the first one showed up. I was unable to delete one of the parties.
When I tried to use the guest list feature it did not work. Again, because this site is in its Alpha Stage. I would like to see the ability for guests to be able to RSVP via the Internet. Seeing as just about everyone is on the Internet, I think it would be beneficial. I always have a hard time remembering to call and seeing I am at a computer more than I’m not, it would work great for me.
The vendor section was a little iffy as well. I had a hard time searching for local vendors and gave up before I got too frustrated.
Overall, I think this site will be a great asset to anyone during event planning once it gets out of the Alpha stage. So far fairly simple to use, not a lot of stuff all over the place. I will defiantly keep my eye on this site. We have a lot of parties and I know this will be a great tool for me to use in the future.
Today Is Football Sunday
OH MY GOD .... I have 3 of the loudest football fans in my house that I have ever heard in my life. Thank goodness they are all friends cause 2 of them are Dallas Cowboy fans and the other is a New England Patriots fan. I guess it makes the game more interesting for them. I mean if they were all Cowboy's fans then they could yell at each other, call each other names and rub things in each other's faces!
For the next four hours it will be like a zoo in this house! I may have to use one of my new self defense toys to keep them in check!! HA

Holy cow, I am sooo excited, I got it in the mail! It is small and black, fits nicely in your hand or clips to a belt. It fires off 975,000 volts of mind numbing electricity. Can you guess what it is?? Anyone?
Ok, I’ll tell you then, it is the Stun Master Hot Shot Pocket Stun Gun…What were they thinking when they sent this to me!! LOL..just kidding!!
A stun gun, hmm, what great little self defense products!! I have never had one and never thought I should get something like this but I am actually happy that I have it now. See, I walk when I get home from work and now with it getting dark earlier, my walks have decreased to only a couple a week. Now, I can feel a little safer when walking in the dark alone!
The first day I got the stun gun I looked at it and wondered what it could do. What would it feel like if I zapped someone with it! How would I feel using and but most importantly, how would THEY feel!! I know curiosity killed the cat, but don’t worry, I didn’t try it out, that is..on myself, I recruited my husband. Now my husband is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds, so I figure one quick shock could not be too bad.
My husband thought I was nuts, we looked at this little black gadget, still in it’s package, him shaking his head and me trying to convince him to let me try it out on him. He was not thrilled about me asking him to be a participant. So I finally took it and the 3 small 3.0 V batteries that came with it out of the packaging. He looked at it and said, “Those are the batteries that make this thing work? Can’t be all that bad, it can’t do too much damage.” He was forgetting that big things could come in small packages!
So I put the batteries in, still begging him to let me try it out on him. He was still very weary but finally did succumb to my request! Dummy!!
So we are still looking at this thing 15 minutes later and he asks to see it. He takes a look at it and hands it back to me and says “Before you do it, press the button and let me hear it.” I agree and press the button and makes this loud zapping noise. LMAO..he jumps up about 2 feet out of his chair, freaks out, gives me a few choice words and went into the kitchen! LOL..I lost my willing participant!!
So I can’t tell you how an assailant will feel, but I do know that I will not worry so much about walking at night anymore. With the holiday shopping season about to start, I will feel more confident walking through parking lots with the stun gun having my back!
Saying Sorry
Z had a rough week in school. He was dropped from a level 3 to a level 2 on Tuesday and Thursday he was dropped from a level 2 to a level 1! I figured it was bound to happen, he is not in a special class because he is an angel.
So Thursday’s level drop was because he called one of his teachers and ASS!! I couldn’t believe it! He didn’t walk up to her and say “You’re an ass”, but apparently he didn’t like what she said and made the comment to himself, but the other teacher was standing behind him and over heard!! Again he wasn’t happy about the level drop and the fact he had to apologize. He has never liked to say "I am sorry" to anybody, not even me. I think it is because he then has to admit he was wrong. But he did do it and I am sure proud of that as little and stupid as it seems. His attitude has always been, if he thinks you deserve it why should I have to apologize. Even accident like bumping into someone. Most people would apologize, even if it wasn't anyones fault. Not my son, he leave you there!! Hopefully next week it will go a little smoother..

How Would You Feel?
I live in Connecticut and there is some drama occurring. There is a serial rapist being released from prison, quite possibly as I write about this, if not already. The man’s name is David Pollitt and he has spent the last 24 years of his life in prison for raping several strangers in the 70’s and early 80’s. Apparently he is going to move in with his sister, who notified her Southbury neighbors via the mail, that he would be moving in with her. Pretty Scary!!!
I would be terrified. Granted he has done his time and even got 4 years knocked off for good behavior. But I would defiantly not like it. I personally thing the act of rape is a serious mental illness. How do you judge whether or not this person has been rehabilitated? You don’t really know!! All you can do is wait and see, see if something happens.
So the people in his sister’s neighborhood have suggested that the state of Connecticut pay for an apartment for him. Good idea?! Well for the people of Southbury it is but what about the other neighborhood he moves into? There will be the same reaction, no matter where he moves. So what do you do with a person who has committed such a heinous crime? I know what I would do!!!
My question is “How would you feel if he was moving into your neighborhood and where would you suggest he go?”
Another Season of Rock of Love In The Works?!?
So I heard that Bret Michaels will be back for another season of Rock of Love!! Why? Because on the reunion show Jes more or less told him to screw off. Yup, she sure enough did. She said that he should have picked Heather the Stripper. She felt that Bret and Heather had a better bond and could laugh about things that she didn’t get. I think there is more to it, she is just not gonna tell!
Honestly, I am happy she changed her mind. After watching the entire show and the reunion show, it sure sounds like Bret is, what’s the word I am looking for, kinda sleazy! I mean what man who has a bunch of ladies in a house all dying for his attention, wouldn’t screw around with them, but still, it is kinda gross. So it is apparent that Jes has very high standards for herself and there is most certainly nothing wrong with that.
So with a new season in the works, there defiantly will be a lot more conniving, back stabbing, cat fights and just more down and dirty woman, all fighting for Bret’s affection! Like the first season, it outta to be great!

Deep Thought, Odd Question
It was a typical lazy Sunday afternoon, all the chores were done and I finished helping Z with his science project on Sharks. I decided that I was going to watch a little TV and of course when I turn it on the same commercials for truck accident lawyers are on. While I was deciding what to watch, Z came over to join me. He sat there for a little while, very quiet BUT I could see that he was in deep thought and all of a sudden he comes out with......
"If you lived in a city that all of a sudden became flooded and you were in a car with a plant, would you still be able to breath?"
I sat there a little stunned, figuring he must have come up with this partly because of his project and partly because he watches ALOT of the Discovery Channel, but I was still really confused about what made him think that.
So I said "No honey, no such luck. But if your car is under water and your windows are up maybe you will have a little time before the car fills up with water. But the plant will not really help you to much."
Looking quite disappointed, he says "That stinks!"
2ND Wedding Anniversary = Cotton
Today I have been married 2 years! Yipppeee!!
I wish I could feel excited about it. The last year has been a very difficult year for us. Sadly it started right before our first anniversary and it has not seemed to get any better. Maybe this year we will figure it all out and be as strong as we were the first year we were married. I mean don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t all been bad, just wish it was better.

October Is A Busy Month!!
So much to do this month...My husband birthday is tomorrow and my wedding anniversary is Monday.
My mother in law, sister in law and my niece were all born this month.
I have a christening to go to next weekend, my husband has a bachelor party to as well.
My sister in law is getting married on the 20th and who knows what else is going on.
OH how could I forget about Halloween!! My favorite holiday.. Time to decorate.
So tonight I am going to get some cards for all these events, I am going to look at

Yankees & My Hubby
My husband is very annoyed today. The Yankees got spanked by the Indians last night. I am trying very hard to keep his spirits up but it's not working. Class Pet Is Spending The Weekend
Z brought home one of the class pets last night. It is a guinea pig named Ginny. He’s is really cute and sweet. I have 2 cats so I was a little worried. My biggest worry was Emmit. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and I wasn’t really sure how he would react. He pretty much ignored it.
Miss Kitty, who is afraid of everything, was scared at first but by the end of the night she didn’t want to leave it alone! She was very curious about what it was and I almost wonder if she thinks it is a baby. She kept licking it…too funny. I’ll post a picture of it later when I get home.
Critters In Your Bed
So recently on the news there was a city in the state I live in that has a couple of buildings infested with bed bugs! What the!! and how the!! do you get bed bugs? I sure bet the people living in those apartment buildings wished they knew about this site.
So if you wish to refrain from getting these little critters, don’t buy used furniture or clothing and don’t stay at a hotel. If you find you have them you could do a couple of things. You could call in a professional exterminator or try to steam clean your mattress. I think the best bet would be to do a mattress encasement and toss the thing. Then bring in your professional to finish off the job!

Z..... hAd a BuMp in ThE rOad YesTerDay
Z had a little drama in school yesterday which resulted in a level drop. He had been on the highest level since a week into school. Bumps in the road happen and considering he has done such a wonderful job so far this school year I couldn't really be made at him. Plus being the only student to maintain a level three, I am pretty damn proud.
So yesterday during gym (I might add my son is very competitive in sports) he had a disagreement with another classmate. Seeing as Z doesn't like this kid it made it easier for him to be more argumentative. So Z got mad and left the gym as he was allowed to do last year. This year he can't use that as his "time out". That ended up giving him the level drop. When he lost his level he ran his mouth off about how stupid the class was, how much he hated it, he was going to ask me to pull him out, it was just like last year and so on.
He knows this year is different than last year. His teachers are trained to deal with children like Z. They have more patience and understanding. I feel it take a special person to be a special ed teacher. Last year it would have escalated and he would have found himself in the office immediately!
So, he cried a little, he was proud and made a mistake and let his anger get the best of him.
But he did pull himself together fairly quickly, within a 1/2 hour, held one of his favorite class pets, yup, they have pets! Talked it out and continued to have a fabulous day. If he continues to keep himself together he will have his level 3 a week from today.
What I am most proud of is, he actually talked to me about what happened, was very honest and upfront. Last year he wouldn't have talked to me about it at all. I told him I was proud of him for pulling himself together and that I know how hard it is to be civil to someone you don't like. (Z is very much my clone, just a boy version.) So I told him that he shouldn't let his displeasure for a person get the best of him.
Small but sweet victories! I love them...

Jes Is The Winner
I am soooo happy that Bret chose Jes over that stripper girl, Heather.. Just something about Heather I didn’t really care for. So Bret feels like he can’t decide which of the girls he wants to be his girlfriend. So he asks the question “Would both of you be my girlfriends and share me?
Heather without thinking twice said “ Yes” and looked over at Jes…Ewww I just wanted vomit.
Jes without a doubt says “No way, if you’re my man I am not sharing you!” No questions asked she wasn’t messing around!
First of all, what woman wants to share her man? A woman who has no pride in herself and is looking for an easy way out as far as I am concerned. She is a freak and it makes me wonder about her. Sorry Heather…. go back to your poll!
There is one more show left this coming Sunday. It is a reunion show and it should be very ineresting..and I am sure a bit juicy!
Z's Busy Weekend
Z spent most of his weekend hanging out at his friend's house. This friend was moving also, but at least staying in the same town and only a 15 minutes bike ride away.I asked Z to be home Sunday night by 7 pm. Pretty reasonable time considering that it gets dark earlier, he had school the next day and still had to do his laundry. So just before 7 I get a call asking if it would be ok if he stayed a little longer. He told me his bike was at the old house and he was at the new one. I expressed to him how I was less than thrilled and that he could be home no later than 8 pm.
Well, 8 pm came and still no Z! Now I am a little perturbed. About 8:15 he comes strolling in the house telling me he just walked from his friends new house BUT the catch, we had to go and get his bike from the old house. That was it..I was let's just say..angry! So we went to go get the bike, which I already knew it would not fit in the car. So he had to ride it home. Needless to say he stayed in the house yesterday and will be doing the same today. Plus he was a little sleepy and chose to sleep in class yesterday! It was an early night for him last night as well!!
