So it has been a few days since my last post. I have been getting ready for Halloween and since Halloween is my favorite holiday of all it takes me a lot of time to get ready. I heard there are a lot of kids that come around out neighborhood, my neighbor figured there was somewhere around 300 last year! Holy crap, I have never seen so many kids before but I am prepared and ready to go! Plenty of candy and no I have not eaten any of it! Haven't even opened the bags yet. I certainly don't want to hit the fat burner machines a lot this weekend! I still have a few more things to do outside but as soon as I am all done the yard front yard I will post pictures.
We will have our annual Halloween party at work tomorrow, this is always interesting, to say the least. Some of my coworkers dress up and they come up with some interesting outfits. We have a group that usually does a theme. One year they dressed up like the Jetson family and it was pretty neat. Others though, they don't have such great ideas, one of our Directors wore a blow up fat ballerina suit and the damn thing had boobs, it just really looked wrong on a guy! Our owner has a Frankenstein costume, complete will stilts. He wears it every year and walks around outside in it. (We have 2 buildings, corporate and manufacturing, he works in the corporate building which is a 2 minutes walk away) He gets a lot of looks from the people driving by and besides that all the people that work in his building that dress up have a little parade over to out side of the street, it is a sight to see.

I was checking out this site called Roadkillshirts.com today. Very interesting I must say, they carry a large line of funny t-shirts, if you are into that type of thing. Me personally, NO; I guess I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything like:
This is one those shirts you would see some obnoxious 20 something and thirty something year old punk wearing. Hell I have seen older men wearing crap like this! You know which one I am talking about, we see them every day. But I guess it is not for me to say what someone can wear. If you are into this type of thing or have a friend or relative who is check out this site. Some of the shirts are pretty funny, just not MY style. I guess I will go and eat my lunch now, seeing as that is what I came home to do!
I Am So Tired
Sometimes I wish life was perfect, sometimes I wish I could say I love life, when in fact I don't.
My son drives me crazy and I often wonder what I did wrong do deserve such a nightmare of a child. For the first time in 13 years I am saying "I hate my son". Some of you may think I am a bit harsh and cruel, when in fact my son is that person. He is mean to people, rude, selfish, uncaring and he acts like a complete asshole. Quite honestly, I don't know how much more I can take. He was suspended from school last week. I fight for him tooth and nail and he gets kicked off the bus this week. He makes me look like a bad mother and I can't stand it anymore. I am so embarrassed by him and he doesn't even care. As I sit her typing this post, the reality has set in for me. I hurt so much inside by saying that it has brought tears to my eyes. This is because at the same time I love him and I have tried to do everything I can for him, all I get in return is shame and embarrassment.
Other parents must think that I am a monster, I mean is the misconception that we have raised our kids this way. We must condone the behaviors and we must not care. For me that is not true at all. I didn't ask to have my son grow up and be a, well, an asshole. I didn't teach him to behave this way, so why does he do this??? It is one thing after another and it feels like it will never stop..
I wish, I wish that I could go to sleep, wake up and have my nightmare come to an end..
Tomorrow though, I will wake up and my nightmare will just continue for another day.
2 Days Away
I woke up this morning and it dawned on me that I don't have to go to work today! No, I don't have vacation per say but it is 2 days away. I actually have a 2 day seminar to go to and it is called How to Communicate with Diplomacy and Professionalism. Do I really need to go to a class on this? Maybe not, but they don't know that and besides the more classes and seminars you go to, the happier they become. I have become more and more obnoxious at work so this is actually the PERFECT time for me to take this class.
When your company stoops to making up positions for the new Quality Director's friend or when your company hires ANOTHER human resource person or in this case a generalist, it is a little frustrating. We now have 3 full time and 1 part time personnel in that department. All that for 150 employees! OH and the newest one was added to the full time list. And you have the nerve to ask "How can we save money, please email me your ideas cost savings." I can give you 2 suggestions right now! We stoop to color codes, to communicate the financial stability of the company, right now we are yellow. We fire several people and don't rehire new people to replace them. You get the burden of "Hurry up, that needs to ship today. Who cares if it is not "just right", ship it anyways. It needs to go today, hurry, hurry, hurry, go faster, why did you reject that, it is fine, faster I said faster."
What bugs me about this is, our company is an ESOP and right now with the fools they have running the place are going to drive it into the ground. We always hear "This is your company" I say "Bullshit, on that! We have no say about these things or anything for that matter."
OK, rant over, I am going to get more coffee....
Oh, the new chick in human resources, her daddy is the Director of Finance...go figure that one!
Finally Feel Alive
I have been sick for the last few days. Started Thursday and finally this morning, I feel alive again. Nothing is worse than being laid out on the couch! Sneezing, runny nose and the worst of it, coughing! I have a ton of things to do, first and foremost, my blogs, mainly this one. I recently changed the template and most of the stuff I had on my side bar is gone, now I need to add it all again! Yeah, fun. I also need to stop by and visit a few friend, see what is new with everyone else!

So my phone rings, it is now 8:46 am, it is my husband. Now mind you, he is already 46 minutes late for work. So stumped that he even called me this early, I asked what was up.
“What happened to all the cereal you bought?” he asks
“What are you talking about?” I asked back.
“You bought 3 boxes of cereal and all there is left is enough for one bowl!” he replied
OH MY GOD, are you kidding me I think to my self.
“Well, Zach has cereal every morning and I have had cereal a few times this week. Plus, he eats a bowl of cereal everyday after school. What’s the big deal?” I said with a touch of irritation in my voice.
His response “Well, I only had one bowl out of all that cereal and I just don’t understand where all the cereal went to. I guess I had better leave what is left for him.” (Him would be my son)”
“No, eat the cereal.” I told him “I can always buy some more and it really is not that big of a deal.”
Conversation over……for now. (My husband can’t just drop things and move on. More will be coming, trust me.)
Now I often wonder how much of childish petty crap one women can take. I mean really, you are 32 years old, not 13, like my son. Quite honestly, nobody complains when you take ½ the bag of potato chips to work with you.

Costume or Reality
I wasn't quite sure what to post about this morning. There have been way to many posts about diet pills lately, so scratched that idea. But since Halloween is right around the corner I thought maybe a Halloween post would do well and again what is there to post about. 3 Years and He Is Still Alive!
Night before.
Holy crap I have been married 3 years today! Who would have thought?? If you have been a reader of mine then you know my husband and I have had some, well alot, of ups and downs...me threatening to leave him, sometimes wanting to choke him and these days, well I just ignore him. Not I don't ignore him completely, only when he acts like a dumb ass! It has seemed tyo work out thus far..here is to another year!

Pluck My Nerve...
So decided to put this blog on it's own domain..I did this all through BlogSpot that way I wouldn't have the headache of setting it up myself. I did the same thing with adayinthezone.com and everything went smoothly0 Well, so much for that with this blog. I paid for the domain and yet my blog still have its original URL. I can't get any help to resolve this, they keep telling me to try to recreate the error. Ummm helloo..to try and recreate the error would mean that I would need to pay for another domain name. All I remember is some sort of error code BlogSpot gave me. I can't remember the letter/number combo but quite honestly I am very annoyed. What do I need to do?? Is there ever going to be a solution to my problem? Or am I going to continue to send meaningless emails back and forth with Google Aps...geez well I am off to read some best diet pills

What?! They did it again??
Yesterday started off cold and rainy, the weather cleared up about 2 pm. Just in time to head off to the football field for the 3 pm game. I really didn't feel like reading another email title about how colon cleanse. Really though, it is gross, I wish the spam would stop!
Anywho, out Plainville Colts are now 4-0.. There are 3 games left in the season, play offs, after playoff there are the regionals and after that....the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando Fl..Let's not jump the gun here, there is still plenty of time to lose! But, as a parent, I couldn't be prouder of my son and his team mates. The coaches have done a great job with them...Good luck Colts..keep up the good work!
Clean It Out
Hmmm. where do I start??
It is raining outside and my son has a football game today...eek, oh and I have volunteered to work the concession stand! Oh and I forgot to mention that they won last weeks game and that make them 3-0 as of right now. We will see what happens later today..
This weekend has been pretty boring..I have been told to clean out the basement. I have a ton of clothes down there! I have spent my days listing stuff on Ebay...We are thinking of getting an air purifier, maybe one of those Austin Air air purifiers. Who knows, I really need a new washer and drier first! Although my husband can't see past anything else at this point and time...what a dope.
