Today being Friday is usually a good thing, but I have to work tommorrow!! Which is ok, I don't mind. My husband sleeps late on the weekends so I am up by myself anyways. Well till my son gets up and he will be at a friends for the night.
It has been a long week, Z has been grounded almost all week. Nothing serious, just not doing what he is responsable for. he's 11 so I think he is capable of doing a lot of things.
My step-daughter also comes over tomorrow(she's 6). So it will be a fun-filled weekend of game playing. Not looking forward to it!! Last weekend she was over and she has another ear infection so Sunday morning she and Z have breakfast, I give her her medication. A couple of hours later her Dad gets up and he goes in the fridge and takes out the medication and just as she was just about to take it AGAIN, I walk in the kitchen and informed him that I already gave it to her. Most kids would have said something..nope not her. I swear sometimes she trys to make me look bad.
SD & I used to get along great. DH & I have been togther since she was 2. When we decided to get married (10/08/05) that all changed. She started to ignore me when I asked her questions. She come in the house and walk right by me. I still to this day haven't even finished paying for my wedding pics. All the pictures of her, us and the wedding party all suck!! She has this fuckin scowl on her face that makes me so pissed off. All the pictures she had taken with everybody else, she has a big smile looks happy. What does that tell you!!!
Everybody says it is because she wants mommy & daddy back together. Well, mommy and daddy only lived together for 2 months after she was born. So in reality she has no clue what it is like to have them live under the same roof. So now we are in the age of mind games and YEAH for me, I get to be the brunt of them all. I so look forward to next weekend when I don't have to deal with the bullshit.
So its Friday!!
My son is really trying hard to get me to undermind my DH. He got in trouble yesterday and was told he would not be able to go outside for the rest of the week. He keeps calling me telling me that he is bored. I tell him that there are a hundred of different things that he could do. Of course none of which he wants to. Oh well..a punishment is a punishment. I guess he will figure it out!!
