Today I woke up early, 4:45 am early...why, because it is Monday and I must go to work. Oh wait, no work dummy, didn't your body rememebr that you were laid off until after the new year? Apparently not...This is going to be a long and boring ass week. Thank goodness my husband has to work, I couldn't imagine what I would do if I had to stay home with him all week too...ugh. What am I going to do today?? I guess I could finish the laundry, I most defiantly will be going to they gym. May be I will surf the web for new acne treatment or some new crazy off the wall diet pill. Who knows, all I know is I don't have to go to work. If I seem less than thrilled then you hit that one right on the head. Although I can't stand my job sometimes, I can't stand being home even more..I need a job I love and a family I can stand... As if that will ever happen.. I feel like I am trapped in a nightmare and I will never wake up..

A New Year Is Upon Us
Can you believe that 2009 is right around the corner? I can't! Seems as though time is flying by and at a rate of speed I am not quite comfortable with. If 2008 went by this fast, what is going to happen with 2009?
So the new year is a time for resolutions and fresh starts. I am not so sure that I will have a New Years resolution, I never seem to keep them anyways! What about you? Do you plan to have a New Years resolution? If you feel like sharing, please tell! I love to hear what other people have decided that they would like to change. Do you want to quit smoking, drinking or lose weight so you can fit back into your sexy lingerie? Maybe you want to spend more time with your family or work less or more? What ever it will be, I am sure it will be near and dear to your heart and for no one to judge. Remember though, you have 3 days left to come up with it!

I Luv it, I Luv It!!
I may not like the snow but I know someone who has a blast every time he goes out side!
Check out this short video..It was 5 am and not enough light..awww..what video editing can do.
It Snowed...UGH
I hate the snow and everybody assumes that I should like it because I was born and mostly raised in this snowy hell of the United States...I am originally from Massachusetts and at one point I loved the snow, when I was a kid! I used to play in it all the time and go skiing every weekend, I had fun. When I was about 9 my parents went on vacation to Arizona for 2 weeks. My mom who has has rheumatoid arthritis found that the dry air helped her tremendously. They came home, they talked, they planned and before the summer was over my dad quit his job, rented their house and packed us up for a 2 week drive out West! We stopped at every canyon, amusement park and site seeing attraction you could find on out way to Arizona. It was a blast! I remember my first winter in Arizona, I waited for the snow to come, but it never did. The first winter was a little sad but I soon forgot that snow ever existed!
Then it happened the next year, my brother when off the deep end and they couldn't find him any help so my parents decided that we were going to move back to New England and land in Connecticut. So we drove back, one week in the car and we were here. I had two wonderful years in Arizona and then I came back to what I have referred to as "The Snowy Hell" and every winter since I was 11 years old I have called winter that. And like hearing about the next best diet pills it is old and tiresome.
Code Red
Ugh...we are officially in code red at work! Not good.
I really am having a hard time coming up with something to say for this. I mean, first off, why tell us before Christmas and right before shut down? I understand you want to keep us informed but hell, how are we supposed to enjoy ourselves? It makes me wonder if layoffs will start after the shutdown is over. The "owner" said that he will do what he can to protect jobs at work, he can't protect all of the jobs though and of course he is correct. So as of right now the hiring freeze is still in affect along with the salary freezes, no raises and no 401k match at the end of this year. It is all okay with me seeing as I would much rather have a job! I don't know if my job will be in the first round of cuts, very possible, but I hope not. Well, things could be worse, we could all have jobs in banking..oh wait, didn't some of them get bailouts??
