Today I woke up early, 4:45 am early...why, because it is Monday and I must go to work. Oh wait, no work dummy, didn't your body rememebr that you were laid off until after the new year? Apparently not...This is going to be a long and boring ass week. Thank goodness my husband has to work, I couldn't imagine what I would do if I had to stay home with him all week too...ugh. What am I going to do today?? I guess I could finish the laundry, I most defiantly will be going to they gym. May be I will surf the web for new acne treatment or some new crazy off the wall diet pill. Who knows, all I know is I don't have to go to work. If I seem less than thrilled then you hit that one right on the head. Although I can't stand my job sometimes, I can't stand being home even more..I need a job I love and a family I can stand... As if that will ever happen.. I feel like I am trapped in a nightmare and I will never wake up..

1 Holiday Down
A couple of more to go! I can't wait for this season to be over. This year we spend it with my husbands side of the family...not what I look forward to doing. Maybe this year Zac and I will go volunteer on Christmas Day that way I don't have to put my fake smile on for the ever so annoying and meddling mother in law. I know my husband hates the fact that I can't stand his mom and I try soo hard to put on the happy face. My face is very telling so I know I am not hiding my displeasure very well. How can I make it a more pleasant experience??..I know drink, drink and drink so more. Usually I am quite tipsy when I leave there and quite honestly, the more I drink the happier I get. I actually place bets with my self on which child will be told they can't have desert until after they eat, yet they get it before, just quietly and secretly! Psycho beotch! Now I know why my husbands step father gets plastered every night.....he married into a family of freaks. Your kid, my kid and so on.
So I am wondering....am I the only person on the face of the earth that hates going to the signifcant others family house, whether for holidays or plain old get together? Please do share with me and tell me how you get through it all? I really need some tips, I can't spend another Christmas 2 sheets to the wind!

Busy Day Today
So today will be one of those "rip your hair out" days. I have to go to work , of course. Try to get as much done there before 1:45. From there I have to bring "Z" to the doctor and he needs to be there for 2:30. After that I have to pick my niece up and take her and "Z" to meet my parents 2 hours away from here. The will be spending the rest of the week with my parent. Ahhhh, a long over do break for me!!
So, I am really excited about seeing my niece. I have never talked about her due to the fact that I have not seen her in about nine years. My brother and I don't exactly get along and they moved to New York so that kinda put a wedge there as well. Now my niece lives in Connecticut with a family friend so I am hoping to be able to see more of her. She has been living with this lady for sometime and I just never pushed the issue to see to hard. Mentioned it a couple of times to my Mom but nothing really came out of it. It is kinda hard to walk into someones life, especially a child and expect things to go as if nothing ever happened. I think a nice relationship will blossom though. When I spoke to her last night, she told me that she loved me. It shocked me, mostly because I wasn't expecting it, but I sure do love her and have missed her alot.
"Z" is excited as well, this seems to be a great summer for him. He has reconnected with his 1/2 sister, which I think he really needed and now his cousin. He will also get to meet two of his other cousin's at a family get together this weekend. They are my niece's brother's and are much younger and a little off the wall from what I am told. I have never met them either, only seen pictures of them.
With all that said, let the rat race begin!

My Weekend
Was really quite nice...well for the most part! I took a few day off from blogging. but now am back!!
Friday, I worked a 1/2 a day, took "Z" to the doctor for a follow up on his accident. After that I took him to get a hot dog and then we headed off to the orthodontist.
Friday night was a little dramatic. My son went to his friend "A's" house and came home in tears. Apparently his friend said something that really hurt his feelings. My son rarely cries in front of other kids. He wouldn't tell me anything. We didn't really do to much other wise.
Saturday.."Z" was really down in the dumps. He didn't want to get out of bed. It really concerned me. I thought maybe his new medication was not agreeing with him. Saturday night he came out of his funk a little, we rented a movie "Ghost Rider", had Burger King for dinner and made Root Beer Floats. I feel asleep during the movie, "Z" said it was great..I still have it so maybe I will watch it tonight. Then it turned to Sunday..this is when the drama started.
