"Z's" Accident

"Z" went to a friends house after dinner Monday night. Which is nothing new, sometimes it's like I am a drive threw restaurant. He eats, cleans up, and leaves. The only difference is that I am free.

So I get a call about 8 p.m from him and the first thing out of his mouth was " Some lady just hit "A" and I with her car and drove away!"

Whoa, wait a minute, I think.

"Are you ok?" I asked

"Yes, but my arm hurts a little bit." he replied

So I walked down to the friends house and by then "A's" mom had called the police an reported a hit and run. With in a few minutes the fire department and E.M.S showed up. They checked out the boys and for the most part they were ok. Just a little shook up.

I had "Z" go to the emergency room anyways, I know from experience that you can never be to sure. "Z" was saying he was ok, but he kept holding his arm up against his chest and not moving it. E.M.S determined it was not broken, but I felt he needed to be seen.

So we got to the hospital and my husband (after having a few drinks and now annoyed) meets us there, they checked him out and did an x-ray. No broken arm, just bruised. The police showed up and ask "Z' what was going on. He told them that a lady hit him and took off. They told us that she did take off, but called when she got home to report it. (This will require another post.)

To sum it all up, most importantly "Z" is ok, my husband is a royal asshole and some lady hit my kid and drove away. Two rants are on the way!
