What Does It Taste Like?

I am a little overweight and I am trying to lose some weight. I have another blog that was supposed to be dedicated to that but, I haven’t really kept up with it. Not at all.

So I decided to go back to Weight Watcher’s and have done fairly well. One of my co-workers went to the doctor recently and was told to lose some weight as well. So we kinda have this little support system at work. Her problem is, she doesn’t eat enough to lose weight. Actually she eats like a bird so it amazes me that she is over weight, never mind she is very fussy.

So this morning I stopped at the grocery store and was looking for something different to eat. I picked up a box of Weight Watcher’s Chocolate Muffins. When I got to work I asked her if she would like one. She kinda curled her nose up and said she had never had one. So I offered her to try it and she says “What does it taste like?”

I almost fell over, “Like a freakin muffin, a chocolate muffin!!” I replied

She laughed cause she realized what an ass she sounded like and said “No thank you, I am not hungry!”

Today is

my birthday. Let's just say I am not thrilled, I turned 31 years old today. This morning I got no Happy Birthdays from anyone in my house. Oh well...they certainly don't let me forget about their b-days.

So I have been taking Chantix...the pill for smokers....for almost 2 weeks now. I sleep like crap and get some serious heartburn. They do seem to work though, I went from 1 pack a day (sometimes more) to 1 pack every 3 days. Not to shabby as far as I am concerned. I do find that I tend to eat alot more, so I will be returning to Weight Watchers just until I get a grip on this no smoking adventure.

My son is off punishment early...He had a good report card 2 A's 2 B's and the rest C's. Last marking period his report card was terrible..c's, f's d's. He has some learning disabilities and such. But he is doing ok...
