Z's Friend...

Z's friend "A" is moving today. I feel bad for him because that is the first "real" friend he has had. They always hang out and seem to get along great. The have the occasional disagreements, but who doesn't??? We knew they were moving, at first they were only going to move a few streets away, now they are moving to another town. By car it it is about 30 minutes away. I

am sure now that Z is getting himself together and learning coping skills, he will have no problems finding friends who want to spend more time with him. He is a really great kid, has a few issues but I am confident that he will find his way in this great big world..

Annual Review

I had my annual review on Friday...let's just say...didn't go so well. I did get a raise..averaged out to be just over $900 a year. I should be grateful but for some reason I am not. I can't pin point why, but all I know is that I am NOT!

So this is what I have decided...

I am a salaried exempt (I think exempt or maybe non-exempt) employee so I do not have to punch a clock. What ever the hell I am it allows me to receive overtime. When I work overtime I have to fill out a time sheet and hand it in to my boss.

1. I will fill at time sheet out every day, seeing as the perception is I am late because I am not sitting at my desk for the whole 8 lousy hours I am here. My work hours are 8-5, I will be sure to get here at 7:45 am instead of 7:55 am so that I can quietly walk around the building so everyone knows I have arrived. That way if I am NOT at my desk at 8 am atleast I have been seen.

2. All the overtime have worked and never put in for..won't happen anymore!!!

3. I am "a paradox when it comes to relationships" ??? What the FUCK is that supposed to mean?????? Please move the crazy old bitch who falls asleep at her desk all the time so I don't have to see it. I really don't want to listen to her 20 minutes conversations with a gazillion people, it distracts me from what I am doing..just tell her to SHUT UP!

4. Learn tolerance for those I have little tolerance for.....ummm..there are very few people I have little tolerance for. The ones I don't have tolerance for are usually the ones who pretend like they know more than they do, people who cannot accept responsibility for their mistakes and people who have their heads so far up managements asses that you can truly not tell where the management ends and where the other person begins!!!

Midway through my boss asked"Do you have any comments to add."

I replied with "No"

I guess it didn't settle well with him because he asked a few more times before we were done.

What did he want me to say??? Give my opinion, My thoughts? Hell, those would get me fired!!

Sucker For A Deal & A New Plant

Friday night I transferred a prescription from the CVS in the same town that I work in to the Walgreens that is right down the street from my house. The incentive….$$30.00! Yup, I am a sucker for a deal…this was a great deal! I received a certificate I the mail from Walgreens saying that if I transferred and paid for 1 prescription that the certificate attached to the letter would be validated by the pharmacist and I can use it like money. Just give it to the cashier and I would be all set.

So I did it, and instead of validating the certificate the pharmacist gave me $30 cash!!! Good deal huh…who couldn’t use a little free money? I thought so too..well needless to say I still spent $30 in the store.

While I was there I did buy something I always wanted…a Venus Flytrap!! My husband thinks I am nuts and the plant is just creepy. I just think my husband lived a boring ass childhood and never was intrigued by anything except rap music. It is obvious that his mother never
stimulated his mind!! He asked if it was the same plant as in the movie Little Shop of Horrors and I told him yes. Now his already frail imagination starts going wild with images that this thing will be a big as the one in the movie and gobble everyone in the house up! Gimme a break!

Looking For A New Template

I am looking for a change, need something new and fresh for my blog. Having the same template for to long is like keeping the furniture in the same set up....boring. I like what I have now and want to stay with the same basic idea...unfortunately Zoot is not available...they had more that I liked and I should have downloaded a few more.

So I am going to start the search..again..took me forever to find this one.

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS : Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant.. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more likeyou, but don't always trust you, hesitating to be come too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold andadventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your companybecause of the excitement! you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensitive, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust In your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. So me people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.
