Rent A Beautiful Beach Front Home

Have you ever been to North Carolina? I have, it was like 14 years ago. I went to Fayetteville for a week. A friend of mine, well he was my boyfriend at the time, was in the Army. I did not do much sight seeing that week. We went to dinner a few times and partied with his friends. Those were the days!!

As an adult, I would defiantly check things out. I was looking at a website that has vacation homes on the Outer Banks. All I can say is, beautiful and very expensive! One of the houses, cheapest weekly rate $2200.00, the most expensive weekly rate for the same house..$6045.00!!!! It is nice to dream, that’s all it will be though, is a dream.

This is the house!!

I Love Award's

Oh Boy...what a busy morning. I have been catching up on something I have been meaning to do. I am in the middle of adding some new Daily Stomping Ground blogs. There are so many blogs I love to visit and want to share them all.

I have also slacked on the MEME’s !! I received two from Ann over at A Nice Place In The Sun.

Sorry for the delay Ann, been very busy and as always, thanks for thinking of me. I have had a great time reading your blog and all the nice comment's you have left for me on mine. Thanks for being a blogging friend. It really amazes me how I could meet such wonderful people and get to know them via a blog.

I will start with the older of the two: The Blogging Star Award

The amazing Barb over at Skittles´ Place has created a brand new award - the Blogging Star Award for bloggers who shine their light throughout the Blogoshere. Some do it with humor, others with creativity, and others with their kind and thoughtful natures.

I am going to award this award to:

Nick @ Spiff, The Spaceman: A New Rising Star, can't wait to see you shine.

Jim & Emma @ Go Smell The Flowers: Always a fun blog to check out.

Mel Kaye @ Monday Morning Power: (One of my newest additions) Need some Monday Morning inspiration?

Marzie @ Marica’s Perfume Gallery: snifff...smell the great scents here!

Mad Goat Lady: Have loved the blog from the very first time I read it!

I have one more award to give......but after these messages!!

Ok..breaks over..................Wow this post is taking up a big chunk of real estate on my blog!! All worth it in the end though, I get to let my fellow bloggers know exactly how great their blogs are...so on with the show!!

The second award: You Make Me Smile Award

This is the second award I received from Ann @ A Nice Place The The Sun.

"You lift me up" throughout what looks like a four leaf clover. It seems to suggest how lucky we are to have the bloggers who inspire and support us each day. I think the bloggers who create these awards are special. Because of their kindness we have a symbol of appreciation for our friends, and beautiful designs with uplifting sayings to display on our blogs.

The Smile Award was created by Bridget at "...And miles we go before we sleep..."

Here's to those who make me smile every time I stop by their blog's. Thanks to you all...

Nick @ Anything Goes! : I know you already received this award from Ann, but I couldn't help but give it to you myself. I can always count on some crazy story of yours. One of my fav's was the one you posted about your neighbor. (I looked at looked for the post and I couldn't find it!)

TRENTING @ Trenting dot com : Girl, you have me in laughin my ass off every time I stop by. I get some of the strangest looks if am reading while I am at work. Keep it coming!!

Adrian @ First Time Dad: I love reading about your adventured and the blast's from the pasts. You're daughter is simply adorable and can make me smile any time.

Angie Lee @ What Floats My Boat: Ya tell it like it is..gotta love ya just for that!! Just keep letting the diarrhea flow girl!

Laurie Anne @ All Over The Bored: I know you aren't doing any more meme's but I must give you this award and all you need to do is accept it.

Wen @ La Delirante: You have some very beautiful picture's and I appreciate you sharing them. I love being able to see other parts of the world.

Kristyn @ Ya Don't Say: Laid back but always a pleasure to read your posts. Nice change of pace. Hope all is well with you.

Monday Morning Mischief

A man goes to the Super Bowl but his tickets are for the upper tier. He spots an open seat on the 50-yard line and grabs it.

The guy sitting next to him says, “Actually, this seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we haven’t been to together since we got married in 1967.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” says the first man. “Couldn’t you find a friend or relative to come with you?”

“Nope,” replies the second guy. “Everyone’s at the funeral.”

One Of My Favorite Pictures

I was looking at the pictures from the family get together we went to last weekend. I had a great bunch of pictures but this one was my favorite.

My son and niece:

They haven't seen each other in 9 years and to get such a wonderful picture made my day. I haven't seen such a nice smile on "Z" like this in a very long time. Usually I get the fake 1/2 assed smile, that is if I get one at all.

My mom loved this pic as well. Thanks to digital camera's you can see what you have with out waiting to develop the film.

Yesterday I did the editing and decided I was going to have it blown up and printed to a 5x7 size then put them in frames. One is for me, my brother and one for my mom's office at work. So instead of printing them myself, I sent them to CVS to have them printed professionally. Along with the pictures I also ordered personalized cups for my grandmother and great grandmother. Both of them like those types of gifts and I thought it would be a nice surprise for them to get in the mail.

Last One

Last picnic of the year!!! Hurray!!

Today we are off to my father in laws house for a Labor Day picnic. This is the official end to the summer. I am sad to see summer go, now it is now it is time to bring in fall and then the all so dreaded winter. I am not a big fan of the snow, ice and most of the cold. Brr..

So with my random babble over, I want to wish my faithful readers a Happy Labor Day and if you don't recognize this holiday well ...Happy Sunday...Nick, I think it is Monday for you..Happy Monday..
