So Thursday afternoon I went to the doctor and she found a couple of spots that were hard and very tender to the touch. She sent my for a breast ultrasound and it was then and only then that I actually got emotional about this whole thing. for the most part I am a very strong woman but this was sure not one of those times.
The radiologist looked at the pictures and could see nothing wrong. I was relieved in a sense but still have unanswered questions. She said that it could be a change in hormones or thickening of the breast tissue. I do have an appointment to see my doc at the end of the month. Doc said "Take Advil for any discomfort and leave it alone, well check again at the end of the month."
So that is it for now..

I Am A Little Nervous...
and I hate the feeling.
I never mentioned this before and I am not quite sure why. I blab the rest of my personal life all over this blog. I know that I am not the only woman who has gone through this, but when it is YOU it seems to be a different story.
This is a little more personal so I think I felt like I shouldn't post it. I know that there are alot of people out there who have and are still going through something scary in their lives. So with that in mind, this may be worth the post. Maybe there is someone out there who is going through something similar who is afraid to go and see the doctor in fear of finding out what it really could be. With that said.......................
For the last couple of weeks I have has pain in one of my breast's and more or less tried to ignore it. Well, ignoring it stopped yesterday.
On Tuesday I woke up with a burning sensation and a jabbing pain in my breast. I tried to put it in the back of my mind, mentioned it to my husband and kinda went on with my day. Yesterday I woke up and I had the same thing, the burning with jabbing pain except something new. My breast was swollen (as if I need them to be any bigger..LOL..atleast I can still find humor) so now I got a little concerned and I asked one of my close friends to either confirm or deny what I saw. She is very straight forward and never tells you what you want to hear. If your hair cut looks bad and you are trying to convince yourself that it looks good, then you go see her, she will tell ya what the deal really is!! (That's why I love her so much)
So anywho, she agreed (and yes I left my shirt on!!) so I made a call to my doctor. I had to leave a message but got a call back with in 30 minutes asking me to go to their other office tomorrow, which is now today, for a breast test. EEEkkkk!!!
I am pessimistic and I think this is the first time I have tried to be extremely optimistic. I looked around at a few sites for some ideas of what it could be. I always try to be prepared for the worst. So I did the WebMD symptom checker and I also check out the Susan G. Komen website. It could be anything from a blocked duct, to an infection or even breast cancer.
So with that in mind I cried a little, I was at work so I was able to keep from letting the river flow but it still scares me.
So today is the day and I am sure that everything will be just fine!!

Breastfeeding in Public
So MSN has a story about woman/mothers and breastfeeding in front of others. Well I quickly scanned the article, didn't even read it. I will tell you though, I am a mother and did not breast feed my son. My reasons, I was a smoker. My sister in law had a baby not to long ago and did breast feed. She also did it in front of others. Now I am not a prude..but it had to be the most uncomfortable spot for me to be in. I know her boob her choice, well I think it was completely uncalled for to whip out ones tit in front of others and let your baby nurse. I am a very straight forward type of person and found my self going to another room instead of saying anything. I just think that that is something very private and should be kept for a room of your own or heck a big baby boob sucking party if that is what you want to do with your friends. Please, keep the boob in your bra around me.
