The Best Of Germany

Oktoberfest, every beer drinkers dream and the world’s largest festival racking up a staggering 7 million visitors, that is many friends to make! Whether it is non-alcoholic beer or your traditional alcoholic beer, you can certainly go and have a good time. Before making the trip to Oktoberfest there will be a few things you will want to do first. This will probably the most important choice you make, before you go, you will need to checkout the hotels in Germany. You are going to want one of those! Then you are defiantly going to want to pace yourself, with all the authentic German beer choices and the traditional German food, you are not going to want to overindulge all in one day. Munich also has a lot to offer, being it is the second most popular vacation spot and the state capitol of Bavaria. You wild find plenty of hotels in Munich as well. While you are vacationing in Munich, go to the oldest parish church, St. Peters Church, if you go all the way to the top, you can take in all the beauty of the city below you. Visiting Munich, you must check out the Marienplatz. The neo-gothic town hall’s clock plays the Glockenspiel everyday. It is world famous and a must see!

Going To London?

If you’re going on a vacation to London, you are probably going to do some sight seeing. With that assumption, I am going to give you a tip on something I heard about. It is called the London Pass.

My Mother In Law

Well all I can say is now I know why my husband is the way he is. After spending 5 days with that women, I luv my mom more than ever. Thanks for being normal Mom & Dad!!

I always knew that she was off he rocker but holy crap, never like this. She constantly nagged and complained, about everything!! Why did you bother to ask us up there if you were going to be this way? (She is the type of person who can not handle any type of stress, if there is stress, there is bound to be a melt down.)

Her famous line for the week was, "Annmarie, are you having a good time?"

I would put on my freakin happy face and respond with a "Yes" and think "If you ask me that one more F'in time I think I will shove a log in your mouth!"

This is the way the conversation SHOULD have gone.

"You know what, I would be having a good time IF someone would put my niece on one of those huge orange tubes you have and drop her off in the middle of the lake. I really can't take the whining and temper tantrums any longer. Why do you all let her talk to you like she does?It really doesn't make sense to me.

It would also be a plus if you would shut your fuckin mouth and stop your bitching. If you don't think you can handle that let me know, there is an extra orange tube with your name all over it!!

So if you think I am having a good time getting eatin alive by bugs, sleeping in a tent with my husband AND my son, without running water and a shower, plus having to listen to you, guess what, I am not. Oh and while your at the cooler, grab that bottle vodka and never mind the soda.

One more thing, please don't tell me you love me again, personally I can't stand you. You can act phoney in front of your son but you talk way to much shit that gets back to me..So the next time you want to know what is wrong with that girl, why don't you ask me!!

So vacation really was not a vacation after all. Vacation is when you go somewhere fun and RELAXING. This was just the same old thing, just in Maine and not Connecticut.

Vacation Is OVER

I am not home yet, but I am on my way!! My hubbie hid the laptop from me, told me this was a family vacation and bla, bla, bla. So be it I guess, atleast I have it now for the way home!

It started pretty bad, I came down with the flu Tuesday morning and still drove the 10 hours. I wished I had stayed home, I did have the choice but I figured that I would try to be a good sport and go. I was ok the next day, not at the top of my game but ok. It was most certainly the longest 5 days of my life. I will be fine as long as I don't have to see any of them for the next month. I have had my dose of them all!!!

Tomorrow At Noon..NOOOOOOO

Tuesday at Noon, I am on vacation. I may not be able to blog, due to my husband wanting to go to the sticks of Maine and spend a week with his Mom and Step dad at their little camp in the woods. Ugh..I am so not looking forward to it, spending 5 days with my mother in law is not a vacation. I will be bringing my laptop so hopefully I can get service.

So we decided that it was only fair. We have gone to my parent’s house for vacation every year for the last 3 years. It’s not like they live in the same town as us or even the same state. His mom lives less than 10 minutes away and he can see her everyday if he wants. But it’s ok..we will go to Maine.

Every summer his mom and step dad go up there and spend a couple of weeks. They take my niece (SIL’s daughter) with them. My husband has not been there in years and really wants to go. He claims I will LOVE IT. We’ll see….

So I guess this place is in the middle of no where or better known as East Butt-F*ckville. Included in the middle of no where is a little of: No Running Water, No Shower, No Electricity, No Privacy, No Sanity!! I hear there is a toilet, a flush when you really need to type! (Oh and there is a lake to bathe in?!?!?) I am really thinking about taking a bunch of laxatives so I get a major case of the shits and get to go to a hotel room.
(so what are the chances you think I am going to LOVE it?)

So it will be a houseful of crazy’s. The crazy’s include: My Mother in Law, Sister in Law, my niece and my husband. My husband is usually ready to kill my mother in law after 8 hrs. What the hell is he going to do when it comes to 5 days?? I have a hard time dealing with his mom as well, but an even harder time dealing with my niece. I may have to give her some of Z’s medication before the week is up and I may just spend those 5 days drunk..I am a typically happy drunk, so it should work out ok.

Then there is me, my son, my father in law and my stepdaughter. We pretty much are emotionally stable!
