Z & I Were Dead People

for Halloween. I was a little disappointed though with the makeup I bought from Halloween Express out of Nashua, New Hampshire. The company set up a shop in a vacant store in a plaza near my job. I bought some stuff called Zombie something or another. We didn't get to use it because when I opened the bottle it looked like sand. The packaging made it sound like it was ready to use and it certainly wasn't. I had to improvise, which you become really good at when your a mom. Next year I certainly won't be going there.

Sleep, I Need Sleep

I am sooo tired this morning, I just want to go back to bed. I have been waking up at about 4 am the past few days and quite frankly, it's for the birds!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween. Z went out with his friends and I stayed home and handed out candy. There was a lot of kids this year, young and old. I think we had about 20 adults show up here who got dressed up and went out. I was a little surprised because people think of Halloween being a kids holiday. It didn't bother me a bit, but I am sure some people didn't like it at all.

So I am a curious, what are you thoughts about adults going out trick or treating? Does it bother you when you have an adult at your door with a costume on and asking for candy? How do you handle it?

Yeah...it's finally here!!! As you all know and if your are stopping by for the first time, I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! Yup, as childish as it may seem, it is my favorite holiday. So with that said I am off to get ready, ready to make my transformation!! Plus I need to get Z up and help him get ready too. We really need to get more bathroom vanities because one just doesn't cut it in the house. I had to get up at 4 am instead of 5 am just to start getting ready...

It's Halloween.... Somewhere!!!

It just dawned me that it is Halloween somewhere!! Actually I was over at Anything Goes! and noticed the date on Nick's comments and it is officially Halloween in Malaysia!!

To my blogger friends in Malaysia..Nick, Adrian, Nessa, Marzie.....Plus those of you who may be in tomorrow while I am still in today(did that make sense??) your yesterday is still my today!!!!..lol.....Happy Halloween!!!! Be safe and have fun...

Busy, Busy, Busy

Z and I had an extremely busy night!! We had to finish up some last minute Halloween business. The were costume accessories to get, popcorn balls to make, candy to buy and before pictures to take!! We are ready to scare some little boys and girls and take this town by storm!! There should be addiction treatment for Halloween, cause I am addicted...Why does it only have to be for one day? There are the 12 days of Christmas, why can't there be 12 days of Halloween...arg!!


We made these for school tomorrow....Don't they look yummy??

Very easy to make and a lot of fun. All you need is.......................

8 cups of popcorn or 1/3 cup of the kernels (I bought a bag of the kernels and followed the direction on the bag)
1 package of mini marshmallows (10 oz bag)
1/4 cup or 1/2 stick of butter.
Use any candies you want....

Pop the popcorn, put in bowl, in a sauce pan melt the butter on medium heat and stir while melting. When butter is melted add marshmallows and stir until they are melted. Pour over popped popcorn and stir until all the popcorn is coated. Grease up your hand with a little oil or cooking spray. We found using a little oil worked better. Form into balls, press your choice of candies into ball before they cool. Let sit for 30 minutes. That's eat, a fairly quick and tasty snack!
