My Thoughts on Michael Vick

“He was raised in the South”

“He didn’t know any better”

“They are just making and example out of him because he is famous”

“He is a superstar, that is why it is all over the news”

“If he was white nobody would have made such a big deal about it”

These are just a few of the comments I have heard from people trying to defend Michael Vick and his actions.

I read Michael Vick’s apology statement from yesterday.

“I want to apologize to all the young kids out there for my immature acts and you know what I did was immature, so that means I need to grow up.”

Let’s look at this statement a little better“immature acts” should have been “illegal acts”, “you know what I did was immature” should be “you know what I did was illegal” and “I need to grow up” should be “I deserve to be punished for what I did and face any and all legal ramifications that come my way.” His sorry ass couldn’t even say it!

“I am upset with myself and through this situation I have found Jesus and I asked him for forgiveness and I’d just turned my life over to God. I think that’s the right thing to do as of right now”

Now what he really wanted say:

“I am feeling very sorry for myself right now. I have found Jesus because that seems to be the thing all the prisoners say. It seems when you apologize for such a heinous crime like the one I committed people seem to get a soft spot in their hearts for you when you throw Jesus into the mix. When I get out of jail I will continue to participate in dog fighting, I'll just be better about not getting caught. I am just hoping enough people will feel sorry for me oh and I never realized GOD spelled backwards is DOG.”


“I have got a lot of down time, a lot of time to think about my actions and what I’ve done and how to make Michael Vick a better person.”

What this really says is:

Now that I am facing jail time I need to do some research on how to protect my asshole from all the men who may want to pound me. I am really working hard on getting prison officials to put me in solitary confinement.


Hey ASSHOLE…what about those dogs you killed? Where did you get them from, did you steal them from yards or did you buy them from people who thought they were going to good homes. Did you and your fellow dumb ass associates convince animal shelters you were going to love and care for these animals?

If he killed 8 dogs in April, how many did he kill in March, February, January or even last year. You can’t tell me he only killed 8 dogs. I didn’t hear him apologize to the dog’s he hung from trees or held under water until their lungs were filled with the liquid.

I wonder if maybe a 4 to 5 hundred pound man should drag your ass to a swimming pool and hold you under until you are ready to lose consciousness. Then he should let you get your breath back and do it over and over again. Then maybe this man could take a rope and toss it around your neck and hang you from a tree. Then repeat as necessary. After he has completed your hanging maybe he could grab you by your feet and throw your ass against the ground so that you could feel the pain that poor dog went through before he finally succumbed to your evil ways.

As far as I am concerned you deserve no sympathy and you have every right to get the same treatment that those helpless animals received. I often wonder how you sleep at night and if you could murder, yes what you did is considered murder, a dog, it makes me wonder how you treat people.

I certainly hope you don’t ever return to football, you don’t deserve it and if you should return I hope you are forced to donate some of your profits to local and national animal rescue organization’s.

My Personal Statement to Michael Vick

Well, shame on you Michael Vick..the evidence is over whelming. The authorities claim they have heard for years that you have been involved in dog fighting. To bad it took so long to act on. An allegation this serious should have been investigated much sooner. I have no sympathy for you. Mine is all with those dogs, who might I add quite bluntly, will all be killed now because of your barbaric and selfish actions. They will never be suitable to be in a home with other pets, never mind around people, especially children. The animals are the ones who are going to pay the ultimate price…which is …DEATH!

Even if they were your cousin’s dogs, that is YOUR property. YOU are responsible for what goes on at your residence, just as much as I am responsible for what happens at my home. You should be held accountable. Let’s show our children what happens when you break the law. You are supposed to be a role model for our children. When I heard about this I was so happy that you were not my son’s role model. If you were, I would most certainly throw everything of your in the trash. As I sit here and think about it, my 12 year old son would be disgusted. He is an animal lover and could not fathom hurting one of his pets. If he is the boy I think he is he would get rid of your stuff himself.


What you did was wrong and down right cruel…I hope you get the maximum punishment allowable by law!!

Michael Vick & Alleged Dog Fighting

I was listening to WCCC a radio station in my home state of Connecticut. Sebastian, the morning D.J. was talking about Michael Vick (quarterback for the Falcons) being associated with dog fighting.

Apparently there have been rumors flying around indicating that he was involved in dog fighting. The Virginia Animal Fighting Taskforce was sent to his property and discovered 70 dogs malnourished and negelected. Stopping here for the moment… Who in there right mind has 70 dogs? I can understand if you are breeding them but even with that considered 70 dogs is a bit excessive. Now they say that many of these dogs had scares and wounds believed to be from fighting. Hmmm…70 dogs, some with scares and wounds and the condemning evidence of treadmills and blood soaked carpets. What is someone to think?
