The Young and Famous

Boy all these young stars are kind of off the hook lately. In and out of trouble, in and out of alcohol and drug rehab. When does it all stop?

Britney Spears is in the news again...surprise, surprise. I don't really feel sorry for her, if she can't keep her act together then she deserves all that happen but man, just leave her alone. I know part of being famous is having everyone in your business and when you are careless about your life they dig for more. Does it make it right..no! Privacy is important and if you have no privacy, what do you have? What makes it okay for then to harass her, nose into her life? Because she is famous? I personally think she really needs to pack up and move, get her crap together and learn to behave. For now, it doesn't look like that is going to happen, but I hope it does. Those poor little boys....

PETA, Paris & Britney

Ok so I have nothing against PETA, hell I am all about animal rights. I have two cats who are treated more like humans than pets. They DO NOT eat table food, don't take baths, but they are pretty spoiled.

So PETA now figures they have the right to tell people where they can or can not get their pets. Apparently they feel they the need to go after Paris Hilton and Britney Spears because they purchased their dogs from breeders instead of going to the animal shelter and rescuing one.

Now don't get me wrong, people should rescue pets from the animal shelter and I am willing to bet that it is the last place a lot of people think of when they decide to get a new pet. I didn't get my cats from the animal shelter, one came from the pet store and the other from a friend.

Really now..I didn't see PETA making headlines here in Connecticut looking for who ever shot the poor seal in the head and left him for dead. What about that poor seal that apparently someone could of cared less about, what about his rights? Come on PETA where are you now?? This seal has rights, don't you think? You should be here trying to locate the asshole who shot at him. UMMM...recent search on your website and found nothing that mentioned this poor seal!! Not one thing..plenty of hits on Paris Hilton, a total of 47 and just as many on Britney Spears.
NOT 1 ON THE SEAL SHOT IN THE HEAD though.

Some of these breeders are terrible people, just as cruel and any Joe-Smoe in your neighborhood. My grandmother purchased a puppy who was terrified of brooms and I mean terrified. What do you think that breeder did to that puppy and the others? So in reality my grandmother may not of rescued a puppy from the shelter but she sure as hell rescued it from someone who may not have been very nice to it!

Get a grip..PETA, your cause is great but lets deal with something a little more important then 2 spoiled rich Hollywood brats who tote their dogs around in luggage and dress them up in doggie clothing.

What did you want to be when you grew up? Are you what your heart longed to be?? NO..well me either..

I wanted to be an actress or a lawyer. I still long to be a lawyer and when my son is all grown up I will fulfill my dream.

Wanting to be an actress makes me think of these girls who are blasted all over the news. Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and the list could go on. I often wonder what they are thinking. Are the under so much pressure that they need to misbehave like this?? Is this what being in the spot light does to them?? They are all snapping under pressure, Girlz Gone Wild style..Unfortunately nothing can prepare them for all this..You make millions and go buck wild!

Time to get a grip girls...this is what you signed up for. It is time to get your shit together, get off the cocaine, put your panties back on and stop making complete asses of yourselves. You signed up for the fame and fortune!!

What can you say?? I was discussing Britney last night with my husband and I wake up to this! Go figure. I say it is time for this girl to get herself together and get out of the spotlight. As many have said she is on the verge of a meltdown. What girl in her right mind would shave their head??
I look at this act and feel sorry for her. Yes, she chose fame and fortune but there is no reason for the world to bother her the way they have. We all make mistakes in our lives and we are fortunate enough not to have our "dirty laundry" hanging out for the world to see. If this act is a call for help, I hope someone steps up and helps her, I look at this picture of her and see a girl who needs alot of help.
