I read this story on my local new stations' website. It seems that Child support agencies in other states have come up with some ingenious ways to finds deadbeat parents. From putting wanted styles posters in utility bills and now on pizza boxes. I think it is a great idea. Why can't Connecticut come up with ideas like this? I have been fighting for child support for my son for years....12 long years. I know these agencies have limited people to work on the cases. But man, I can remember not getting child support for months. Supposedly there is a red flag in the system when there have been no payments for 4 consecutive weeks. I have waited 8 weeks and called and they seemed to be oblivious to the fact that no payments have been received. It then takes months to get a court date and then if the father doesn't show up, a capias is issued then you wait months for the arrest. I know first hand, I waited for my son's father to be picked up on a capias for over 2 years.
So why not ask the general public for help, these children deserve what is owed to them and I hope that the great state of Connecticut follows suit. They need as much help as they can get.
