I have a friend who works in removing asbestos and I often worry about
Mesothelioma cancer. This cancer is cause from exposure to asbestos. Even though he has to wear a protective suit when he does the actual removal, I often wonder how well that really protects him. Every year there are 2 to 3 thousand diagnosis's a year..that's a lot!! If you know someone who has been exposed or may work with asbestos, talk to them about Mesothelioma cancer and help them stay informed.
I'm glad you bring this up, but my friend's dad died from it...and he never worked in that field and they have no clue how he could have gotten any exposure--let alone repeated verexposure to asbestos.
